We are back from an awesome vacation!  Vacations always pose an interesting challenge to healthy living.  I try to plan well for food, and I think I did pretty good, but there is always a "Well, we are on vacation" sort of mentality.  I can either overcome it or embrace it.  I did both on this trip.

I got in a few unconventional workouts.  I had my friend text me the CrossFit workout for Monday morning and I did it in our campsite using large rocks as weights.  I think the people camping near us thought I was a little odd, but I thought the same thing about them when I saw they were two men wearing camo and singing in harmony by the campfire every night.  To each his own.

Wall Ball sit ups, on the pavement.  Audrey think I'm off my rocker.

We also hiked a bunch.  A major hike was to the tippity top of the sand dunes.  It was HARD CORE.  Like, I thought I was going to pass out and just roll down the sandy hill.  We got to the point where I would say, "Let's just go 10 steps, and then we can rest."  We did it though.  Ten steps at a time, up an almost vertical incline, in soft, soft sand.  Like I said, HARD CORE.  I was sooooo proud of my kids!!!
On the way up.  Chloe was crawling up at this point.
Me and my girls--a view from the top.  By far the hardest hike I have ever done!  And my kids did it with me!
