A poem for my readers

A fun 10K
On a Saturday
What a great way
To start the day.

Don't you love this blog?  I mean, really, I not only give great, healthy tips on how to keep your entire family healthy, but I expose you to high quality, original poetry.

Amy and I are doing at least one race a month through the winter to keep us going.  Yesterday was the Galloping Goose.  Don't really know what is up with the name, but we had a fun time running a beautiful race together.  And we even got cool medals with GEESE on them!!

Kayla has requested Sunday on the Scale.  My scale is broken (DARN!) but I did take a picture this morning.  Unfortunately it made me look six months pregnant so I'm not really wanting to post it.

I've got major things going on in my life right now--sorry if my posts aren't quite as regular as they used to be!  Big changes, big decisions, big expenses...hopefully not a big weight gain. :)

  1. What a great goal, to do a race a month. Having something to train for sometimes makes it easier to make sure you fit your training runs in. You're lucky to have the option; I don't know of many (if any) races in our region through the winter months...unless they involve skis or snowshoes. ;)

And looking "six months pregnant"? Doubtful. Cute hat, by the way. I'm a sucker for a cool, pink baseball cap. :)
